What should I do? Should I just turn off the TV when I see his cocky face. Should I stop watching SportsCenter during basketball highlights. Should I stop using Nike products, or should I just dont care and stop thinking about the subject. For real, what should I do?....
I have been following, as all of you, the story/melo-drama about Lebron. I know giving this guy so much attention is sad but, let's be real, unless you live under a rock, you know about the subject, and have an opinion - good or bad. It is difficult not to talk or think about it; I love sports, and Lebron is one of the best athletes in the planet.
I am going to be constructive, at least on this, my first post...The reason why I hate -yes, hate - Lebron James, it is because he embodies -to the fullest- the lowest trait of a human being....douchebaggery. I do not hate him because he is rich, he deserves it; nor because he switched teams, he is a paid professional athlete. I do not hate him because I am a mad Cavaliers fan, which I am not; I am a not a Cavaliers follower. There is a way to do things, and when people treat you with respect, love, and admiration, such as all the Cleveland fans did, the last thing you do is to diss them in national - and international - television. That is the reason why I hate Lebron.
So, what should I do?...This is what I did. I created this blog with the mission of: "To always remind Lebron that, not matter what, his legacy is and forever will be of being the Biggest Douche that ever walked the Earth" . One day, when his career is over, I hope that thanks to the combine effort of the social-media, he is reminded that his legacy is being the "Biggest Douche" and nothing more. So lets create awareness....he knows he is a douche, and this title will haunt him for life, as long as we remind him over and over what a douche he is.
Thank you for reading my angry, but very constructive rant. There will be more, Lebron is not my only target, now don't be a douche yourself and become a follower. I am out!

Why would I respond to hate? Is that logical? I think not….Do I dislike Lebrons decision, yes. Do I wish he stayed in Cleveland, yes. Did he owe Cleveland fans a better exit, yes. Is Dan Gilbert’s decision to write a hate email a douche move, yes. It was amazing to see a superstar drafted in his hometown and that story is more romantic and heartwarming but its not our lives, its his. He made a choice and has to live with it, but it was his choice. He is a man child and has a lot more growing up to do but the decision was a failure and he seems like a guy who can learn from that. I like Lebron as a person and a player and we all make mistakes and some people need to let it go and let him grow….the way he wants to…not you.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Cavs…Does a team notify a player before he is let go and his heart is ripped out. No. I saw one of the most popular Mariners player Brett Boone cry on TV because of how disgraceful his release was. Zach Thomas was let go, he asked if he could use the Press Room to thank the fans and press…they said no. He was broken hearted. His brother in law, one of the greatest Miami Dolphin wasn’t picked up for one more year because Bill Parcells is a stubborn douche. Lastly and most recently, Cody Ross a very popular Marlin wasn’t even offered a dollar to stay and they gave him away for free. He broke down and cried in front of management and Dan Uggla as he ran in to defend Cody staying. He went on to win the NLCS MVP and a World Series ring….ALL MARLINS FANS ROOTED FOR HIM STILL! Dan Uggla threw his recent generous contract back in the Marlins managements face because of disloyalty.
Lebron owes the Cavs nothing, he gave them everything and now they are jilted ex-girlfriends…GET OVER IT.
He moved on ….so should you.
